the likes of Tiddledy-Winks, Ludo and Snakes and Ladders, redesigned
chess into the modern game we know today and even introduced Croquet
to the United Kingdom at the 1851 Great Exhibition.
They represent the very top end of the classic games market. None of
your computer chips here, just the best quality handmade British built
products. Their games will last a lifetime and remain timeless even
when everyone is hovering to work.

Table Tennis from the creators.
Over 100 years ago John Jaques the third, a great sportsman, turned
the parlor game of Gossima into Ping Pong, later to become Table Tennis.
Around the end of Victoria's reign, the game became an enormous craze
- everyone was playing Ping Pong.
Before long the world was playing table tennis which eventually became
the National Sport of China.
Jaques tables can still claim to have been chosen for more World Championships
than any other.
Nowadays, we still make the only English made tables, although there
is now much competition from European and Far Eastern products of perhaps
lesser quality.
We also offer a full complementary range of both competition and practice
bats as well as a large range of equipment
