What Slickback says:
If the Elektra range are the Bentleys of the Coffee Machine world then
La Pavoni are the Maseratis. They’ve been around since 1903 so
have a pretty good idea of what they’re up to. Like Maserati they’ve
got style, aren’t cheap but are a load more reliable!

What they say:
“LA PAVONI (Italy. Classic, high quality brand. Manual lever operated
and pump operated machines.”
“The Europiccola, chrome finish has evolved since it was first
introduced in 1958, but one thing has never changed. It is, and always
will be, a classic among lever coffee machines.
Constructed chiefly of brass, and with a large boiler to help minimise
the effect of limescale deposits, the Europiccola will keep making excellent
coffee for as long as there are coffee drinkers in your home.
The simple lever mechanism enables you to make coffee exactly as you
want it. Lift the lever to raise the piston, drawing pressurised water
into the filter-holder where it infuses the coffee. By then lowering
the lever, the water is forced back down through the coffee as slowly
or as quickly as you require for your perfect strength cup (the slower
the stronger). Since all the water is heated simultaneously, the Europiccola
can make eight cups of espresso consecutively.
Classic in look, classic in quality, the Europiccola continues to set
the standards for other coffee machines to follow.
Supplied with English plug. UK supplied machines are 240V to ensure
satisfactory performance.

“Europiccola: the lever machine always in vogue.
The machine is largely constructed of cast brass and is built to last.
The large boiler ensures that lime scale deposits have minimal effect,
meaning minimum maintenance is needed. By lifting the lever, a piston
inside the group is raised, allowing water under pressure to infuse
the coffee in the filter holder. The lever is then lowered, causing
the piston to force the water through the coffee into the cup. The user
therefore can vary the speed at which the water passes through the coffee,
ensuring this latter is made exactly according to his own requirements.
The machine is fitted with a steam jet interchangeable with the Automatic
Cappuccino maker, for the preparation of cappuccino and hot drinks in
general. The "Cappuccino Automatic" attachment ensures a perfect
cappuccino every time. This device on the opening of a valve automatically
sucks the milk from its container and brews it warm and perfectly frothed
into the cup.
Model Europiccola allows 8 cups of espresso to be made consecutively.
Brilliant copper boiler, brass group, brass-coated base, safety valve,
steam jet interchangeable with Automatic Cappuccino maker, sight glass.

and domestic field, in Italy and throughout the world. Our machines
